1st gen lift is finished!! w/ pics
chevy 63" long springs in the back with mixed stock rear/stock front leaves in the front... no blocks, no longer shackles... time for new tires

yea i know i looked for one locally, right now i have the ubolts long enough so i can run a 1 inch block but im going to get a flip kit if i decide to run more than that.

ok, now, it appears that your double shackle in the rear is resting on the framerail. may i ask why? and if it is, did you put any kind of bumpstop on it?

bump stops
you dont need the bump stops on the double shackles, but it will quiet it down a lot when it folds back downafter being extented. I would suggest that you come up with some kind of bump stop to keep from bending the chevys where they will come in contact with the frame right behind the front mount.thats just my .02 since ive been there and done it.

This current setup should droop for days but when one side droops the other needs to stuff just as much. This will lead to nearly all the weight carried by the rear axle going to the stuff side shock mounts.
I've got $2 on a shock mount being the first thing to break when you try to flex it. Any takers?

yes, shanes thinking is exact since they are at 45" angel 2" is = 1".... i can always remount them if i have a problem, but when i get new tires and throw an inch, inch 1/2 block in i think i'll be ok
