Tundra $$ Vs. Taco $$

Tundra $$ Vs. Taco $$
I'm looking at newer Tacomas lately - and can't help but notice lower mileage 2000-2002 Tundras for better prices than the Tacomas. Is this just because of the Tacomas having a higher demand or is there something wrong with the Tundras?
Any input is appreciated

Ide take the Tundra but i do think the demand is for the fuel economy and who wouldnt want a Tacoma they look sick and are a great size IMO. I wish the older Tacos had a V8 option. If they did i would grab that right up

Demand has a lot to do with it. When people think of Toyota they automatically think Tacoma (because it's the best compact truck ever built). Most people aren't buying the Tundra, because if they need a 1/2 ton or bigger, more times then not people automatically think the domestic's are better...but shhhh don't let the word get out.
Oh yeah, and I traded my 95 runner with the 3.slow for the Tundra based soley on performance and gas mileage. I was lucky to get 15 in the runner, and I don't remember the last time I got less than 16. Even pulling an Atv trailer...oh yeah and the power is AWESOME.

Got to love the power and extra room of the Tundra over the Tacoma. It all depends how much room you need and how much power you want. It's still a Toyota, so it will always out last any Chevy, Dodge, or Ford pickup.

yea ditto on the titans, those trucks were made to be bling bling mall cruisers and nothing else.
As far as tacoma vs tundra, it depends what you want it for. I wouldnt mind to have a tundra instead of the tacoma, but there are a lot of instances where it would not help me. Tacoma is more compact, probably a little more economic, and its more managable on the trail due to its size. On the flipside the tundra has a better towing capacity, more bed space, and more room for pasengers. I personaly like the first gen tundras a lot aswell, and i think that if the price drop for the tundra was substantially lower i would go with that instead simply because they are both yota's and they will both probably due whatever you need them to.
