Still have CEL & P0171 Code... what next ?
Hi all fellow yota owners......
I've got a 2001 tundra, 3.4, 4whl, 5-spd. I've got 120K on the clock at this point in time...... Here's my delimma.....
I posted before about my on-going issues, in which I have replaced the TPS, MAF & H02 sensors, New NGK Factory replacement plugs, new Air Filter, new vaccum lines.... & thorough check for leaks. I have reset the ECU completely several times upon each repair, still no luck. I've run Seafoam through it to clean the injectors.
When in closed loop the truck seems to run fine, but once the ECU see's the ECT register that the engine is at operating tempurature, the engine starts to ping from 1/3 throttle to 3/4 throttle, only stopping if I go WOT, or back off just alittle on the pedal.
I've gone up through the different octanes, with no change either.
Last week, I had the chance to use a handheld OBDII scanner, which had the option of checking the status of each sensor, and the status of them.
Here's the strange part, when cold, all the sensors states matched up with what they should be reading, but once I let it come up to operating temp, the knock, H02,02 & MAF sensors all stayed in a "Not Ready" state.... almost like there was a common ground or a wire that tied all these back to the ECU that was no longer recieving input from these 4 sensors.
Has anyone else had this happen, or knows the commonality between all of these which would lead me to a direction to check..... I'm fresh out of answers.
thanks to all, this forum is such a life saver!!!
