Question Rear main on 96 T100

Hello All..Anyone have any advice on changing the rear main seal on my 96 T100 (3.4L, automatic trans).. I've done lots of rear mains but never of this veh. Can the seal be pulled without dropping the pan?...thanks

I think that you can pull the rear main without pulling the pan. It should be in a special seal holder that comes out with four or five 10mm bolts. But I dont think that you need to pull that out. Post how it is. I need to do mine (leaking about 3 quarts per 5000miles).
