Lightbulb problems in 4x4

just recently my tundra has started to act a little funny when i put it in 4 wheel drive, works good in a straight line but as soon as i start to turn the wheel it starts to for lack of a better word, it starts a kind of jerking motion not to bad when i drive forward and turn but in reverse it is almost like something is holding the front wheels up, anybody run into this problem, or is there anyone that might have a clue as to what might be causing it, there are no weird noises and it shifts in to 4 wheel with out a problem, it's really strarting to drive me up the wall trying to figure it out.

thanks for any help

You're not putting it into 4WD on dry pavement are you?

In 4X4 you are naturally going to experience a little bit of hop/jerk during turns as the front and rear wheels try to maintain the same rotating speed. Is this something that you are SURE never occured before? Have you had any front diff work done recently?

oh yeah and when it starts to catch it really starts jerking, some times wonder if the front wheels are just going to seize, started doing it about one month ago, have never had a problem before, did alot of off road in the summer with no problems

Just a thought, could you have snow/ice stuck somewhere?
