yeah, it's a salvage title. nobody in their right minds would do that to a UZJ with a clean title.

yeah, they've added stuff since it was sold last time, but in my opinion, what they have done is pretty sickening and all bling and has actually DE-valued the rig in my eyes.

the rims aren't really that bad, and at least the tires have some meat on em. I'd certainly take it off their hands.

Yeah, that's the *thing* I saw driving around Denver.

Why would you buy that and then bling it out for city driving?
The guy prob wants to sell it so he can get a H2 =\

True it looks like crap with the dubs, but other than the wheels, and the lights in the side mirrors, i can't tell that they did anything?

Alan Podvin's an interesting guy.

He built a turbocharged 80 sereis that could smoke a bunch of honda's.
HE built another 80 series with a gonzo airbag suspension.

He's NOT going to buy an H2.

FWIW, that truck went up moab rim and a few of the hardest trails in moab without issue.
IFS, 22" rims and all.

I am confused, if i remember correct Alan built this truck and sold it to a guy in Florida last year. Now Alan i guess has it back? Or maybe he is just selling it for the guy in Florida due to his rep and cruiser experience...

I wondered the same thing. Is he doing these conversions for people? It seemed like the ad read that way.

IIRC he is a pretty wealthy business owner (contractor?) that does this as his hobby on the side. he must be sitting really pretty in that thing to offer to swap an LS1 or supercharger in at no additional cost to the purchaser.

That is definitely the nicest modded LC I have ever seen, excellent work. Honestly, even with the bling, its still REALLY nice...sell those riims for what they're worth and do what you wish with it...awesome!

I thought they ment at their cost i.e. you still pay, just no markup.... maybe I'm wrong?

Surprised that was a rig in Flori-duh. That may be why it's on the block. Not your typical FL mud truck. I don't think it's built for that type of wheeling (mud, deep black water & sand). Looks right at home out west.

But I still would drive it! (put the black rims back on)

IMO, the 'mirror lights' are actually kinda ingenious. I've seen a lot of 4x's with driving lights mounted on the A-Pillar lookin' all outta place, but those have been molded into the mirror like they were stock. Looks kinda goofy, but def a creative way to put lights up there.

If they were flush mounted or at least semi flushed mounted, it probably wouldn't look so bad... But damn that sucker pops out...
