Well, the crappy OEM exhaust manifolds cracked on my 2000 Tundra, and, chump that I am, I had them replaced. Those lasted less than 1000 miles. All I can hear now is lifter click.

PLease, somebody, recommend some decent after-market headers. I'll bite the bullet and pay whatever I gotta for reliabilty and performance...Help! Email me offline if you gotta!

Get the factory TRD headers. The are the best out there. But go to this link: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...ad.php?t=31361

I have SSAutochrome headers that I got from ebay for $189 shipped to the door. They are good economy headers but didn't improve performance much on the low end.

I second the TRD headers, just find someone to weld them on, headers are anyways better than exhaust manifolds as that way the collected exhaust gases have a longer path to travel down and thus don't interfere with each other. I don't know why manufactors just don't install headers in the first place.

Another good choice is the JBA's. They are cheaper than the TRD's and bolt on. There is also S&S (not to be confused w/ SS Autochrome) long tube headers (best performance gains) but are not CARB certified (didn't know if this effects you or not).
