Those really look sharp all beefed up. I love the navy ones, but can't tell if this one is black or blue, or green for that matter.
Gonna sell yet, Steve?!

No, the '89.
Where are the pics of it anyway?

I'll take some pics when it comes back on Monday. My boatload of Toyota parts from Conicelli will be here Monday as well.
I replaced everything broken, cracked or worn.

285/75/16 or 33X12.5X15
The stock 6x15 wheels have to go too. 4.88's and dual ARB's will go in at the same time.
285's would be nice since they are only 11" and would look really nice on there. I really like the 16" wheels and I can test fit the 285's from the 4Runner. The FJ-62 is going to get Dueler AT's though.
You like the hangers I assume?

Darren: I saw that cruiser on Christo's sight a few weeks ago. Looks pretty sweet. That is my favorite model/body style after the FJ-40. You thinking about it Darren?
Steve: I am looking forward to the pics. How much of a trail rig is your -62 gonna be? Or better yet, what are your long term mod plans?

Not even close to thinking about it. I just think they're pretty dang sweet.
I love the 3rd Gen 4Runners first and foremost. I don't think I'll ever get to the point of even wanting another rig for trail duty as it is not, and hopefully will never be my main hobby. If I ever got to the point where I wanted a straight axle up front, I'd wait until they are commonplace and worked out on our rides. That will be a few years though. In the meantime, I am very happy with what I have.

Sorry, I forgot to put the smilie at the end of that last sentence.
I figured as much with what you have put into your Runner to date and what your future mods are. I feel the same way about my 3rd Gen. Between what I have on now (except I wish I had bought MT/Rs), parts I have waiting for me in Colorado (
) and the hangers I still need to get from Steve I am extremely happy with mine also.

Actually..............
I'm currently as of a week ago, unemployed.
We are going to sell my wifes 1999 Honda CRV and replace it with the FJ-62.
The Land Crusier and the 4Runner are fully paid for, the CRV is not.

If you think SAW's are expensive. Your wrong.
The OME leaf springs, shocks, shackles & grease center able pins for the Crusier was $1700 and Mike gave me a deal.
Then I had to add longer brake lines, Daystar poly bump stops & Extend breathers (it had factory extended breathers to begin with).
3rd Gen's are cheap. Crushers are big bucks. Mark Mason is going to set up the 4.88's and ARB's.
It's going to be quite a truck. It has factory cross over high steer.

Banned again. Bye Bye Burrito Boy.
The FJ-62 has an IFS style steering box and crossover steering. The 79-85 Mini Pickup used a completely different design steering box which pushed and pulled forward and backward. This design could have been used on the FJ-62 but was not. In fact the FJ-40 uses a similar forward backward pushing motion like the mini pickup.
Just go away Clayton. You may have Joe fooled and I think you and your goons are really sending that 4X4Wire board into the toilet. Personally there has not been anything interesting posted on there in months.
