Quick pics of my 40................

Ya know I think I'll post a pic from early on. This is what it looked like after six months of ownership. I wasn't inspired to say the least.

After draining my bank account and busting numerous fingers and knuckles here it is. I replaced the rear quarters, rockers, p-side floor along with a whole host of stuff. I'm not even close to being finished with it (been working on my 4th Gen) but for now, this is where I'm at. I swear it's the same one, see I left the Jolly Roger sticker on just for that reason. I know I have to paint that screen behind the front emblem. It looks like crap.

And heres a quick shot of my 1980. I haven't even begun, but it has a strong 2F and the tub is really the only bad spot. I mean the lower tub. The top is perfect, like it's been inside a garage. A total tub replacement and a little love or sweat. It'll be cherry again. Yeah right!

Thanks for the compliments.

Its almost a challenge to see what you can do with a pile of scrap iron. I guess it provides somehat of an escape from the daily grind.

Looking good Doug! These things sure are a time/money sink hole, but worth the effort- thats what I keep telling myself anyways.
