'73 Fj40?

Hey people, I'm normally over on the 4runner board, but I had some thoughts recently so here are my questions:

I'm looking at a 1973 FJ40 with a 4 speed tranny.
What type of specs did the engine have from the factory? (hp, torque, cubic inches, model number...)
What were some problem areas?
anything else?

This if the FAQ from another site:

http://www.off-road.com/tlc/faq/

Lots of info there.

The "F" engine is 3878 CC , 125 hp, 209 ft lbs at 2000

Should have 3 speed as orig, with 2 speed transfer (if no floor shift for TC, it will have vacuum shift for 4X4, & underdash lever for low range....I don't know what year it changed)

Hate the drum brakes! I'm changing mine to 4 wheel disks (got a 79 front axle)
