Buy an old 77 Crusier with mild rust, skip the wizzbangs and doodads, put quality off road wheels and tires lift it 7'',new air intake, lights, hardtop, and eyepopping paintjob, and it STILL would cost that much!

(I would go into the sheer stupidity of TVs in a car, but, thats a rant for later.)

I hate that show!!!! Who could drive around a cruiser like that???? I see they just gave away a new runner too.. Maybe toyota have big backing on that show??? I really like that bondo trick too why not shove some aluminum foil in there too..

have you guys noticed the paint that they use in the shows? its mostly home depot and sherman williams house paint you can clearly see the labels in most episodes.

NO Flippin' WAY!! they are painting those cars with house paint??? WTF is up w/that??

So assuming this is true...all the nice paint we've seen go on cars is fake?

This is dconfusing because i didn't have time to read the whole thread...sorry.

Can someone post pics of some of the cars your are referring to? those ebay auctions are dead...
