Just a thought but everyone I have seen had the exact same bluish truck on the lift behind the pimped ride. They can turn this POS into gold in a few days but havent gotten the wheels on that Suburban in months?????????????

I doubt that the real owner put that on ebay. If you notice the vin # is filled with 0's. Its prolly just some jackass putting in on there.

How the f is that truck better off now. I would expect more from Land Cruiser guys. That truck was perfect when it rolled in. When it rolled out it probably got its ass kicked for being yellow, and having bamboo whatever. they can pimp old caddys or civics or escorts until they are blue in the face but you dont mess with a 40. My buddy and i watched that show with a box of klenex next to us. Yoga is for puzzies "I hate hippies they want to make the world a better place, but all they do is sit around and smoke pot and smell bad." -cartman. As far as the snorkle goes, forget about the carb issue, you must be forgeting the lcd monitor they put in the rear floor, thats one expensive river crossing. that legendary machine wasnt pimped it was ruined. Sure dvd players and nice sound systems are nice trust me on this one, i have over $10k into my system of mcintosh, dynaudio, and a dvd player in my car (its all about the sq, spl sucks) but there is a time and place, and an fj40 is not it.

Yeah, I liked it better with the axe and "I love Explosives" sticker. It was more rugged and the way an FJ should be. FJ's are not bling bling no matter how you fix it up. In a way I do believe the show was fake, hired an skinny chick to do the acting, because you can really tell she was not all that excited. And her boyfriend gave her that after dumping her?? If I had that fj I would not give it to no girlfriend after a break up. No way. Besides I didnt know LA had a safari.

If you guys havent noticed they "pimp" vehicles that are about to make a comeback or debue. Like the scion, the Land Cruiser, and there was something else I cant remember. But I do know that Toyota had contacted MTV about doing that show to introduce what the "old cruiser" really is, to the youth market. Man did they screw that up. BUt I dont know if the whole show is fake It wouldnt surprise me from MTV.
"MTV is to music as KFC is to Chicken" - Lewis Black. (thats not a positive remark by the way)

I dont think MTV has anything to do with it being fake, But i am starting to believe WCC is setting the whole show up for their advertizement. It makes sense to me.they know people with see it and like that crap they do and go in there and pay a lot of money for that crap. Even if it is real i think its annoying how They make fun of the cars at first, shoot, how do u think the owner's feel. especially if they cant afford anything else. I would be pissed if a rich dude came and made fun of my car cuz i couldnt afford anything else. That show just pisses me off when i watch it now, so i stay clear of it.

A sad, sad day for cruisers when I saw them "transform" this thing. I think its a combination of toyota and wcc settin stuff up like this for lots of public attention. The pimp my ride where they took the kids car and gave him a scion, and this with the cruiser, wcc wants more business, and toyota wants people to see their new stuff, and await the comming of the new fj. which i'm not.

WCC is not about to "gimp" my ride. What a joke!! BTW anyone noticed the blue 4runner that has been on a rack in the background for every episode! Next time, take a look at the suspension. That thing must be lowered 6"...

I couldn't agree more with the people who say they screwed up that LC. It was awsome until Mtv & WCC got ahold of it... I thought they really trashed it, the color sucked, the new seat coverings sucked, I did like the bamboo floor though. A fountain, a friggin fountain !!
...and the gal was complaining about the locks... Uhhh, you ever heard of bolt cutters ?
That LC was THE HEAT until they screwed it up.

The chick was hot though.

Bidding has ended for this item
That second auction has ended without a bid now too....it's getting kind of shady....

I wonder what's up that the auctions keep ending...

I think that the blue rig on the lift behind all these vehicles is a 2nd gen 4runner. The bumper lines and the rear tailgate lead me to think this. wonder what "specials " that one will have when finished

You mean the purple 3rd gen 4runner. That thing hasn't moved until they changed sets, now they have a different set of "shop cars"
