New Steel Braided Clutch Line Kit! **FREE GIVE-A-WAY!**
Congratulations combatcarl for winning a free kit!!
----
We are happy to offer a new product to our clutch hydraulics: Our new Steel Braided Clutch Line Kit!
Product link: http://www.marlincrawler.com/clutch/...lutch-line-kit
This kit replaces the stock rubber line that extends down to your clutch slave cylinder. Not only is it more durable and longer lasting, but it will improve the linear feel of your clutch pedal as it resists expansion.
These lines are made in the USA by Crown Performance and exceed the Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Standard MVSS-106. They are Military-Grade featuring a strong one-piece crimp design, UV protection layer, stainless steel braid, protection layer, Kevlar braid, and finally a Teflon inner core to minimize internal friction. Crown steel braided lines are used by the US Navy, Army, Marines, and Air Force and are the same that we've trusted for more than a decade to get us to the trail and back home safely!
Don't let a stray rock or tree stump rip apart your stock rubber line. Don't get stuck with a leaking or inoperable clutch hydraulic system!
Kit includes:
Applications: 1979-1995 Toyota Hilux trucks and 4Runners, 1995-2004 Tacomas, and 1996-2002 4Runners.
Depending on application, some frame brackets have a larger opening and will require both clip shims to compensate for this extra gap. The installed photos below are from a 1982 4WD Pickup and only require 1 clip shim as shown at the lower side of the upper frame bracket:
As a way to kick these off, we are giving away one free kit to one lucky member who replies to this thread anytime before 8am PST Monday, Feb 17 when we announce the winner!
Good luck to all and thank you for your business from Marlin Crawler!
