buttoning up some mounting issues today

Joel brought in his NEW projector headlamps today .. much deeper then the stock lamps , so some sugery needed to be done .
passenger side wasnt so bad , just had to do some "mods" to the airbox . move and make a bracket for the A/C relays and build a mount post for the 5V igniter

Drivers side was a little more involved .. because of the fuel canister , cruise control and battery , but we solved it

headers back from ceramic coat

I decided to "wrap" the flex pipe . I didnt want any "ratteling" down the road , and welding the cover would hinder the flaxability of the flex joint

it's a labor of love ... If I was to charge a customer for the time I have in "replaying" the parts it would be thousands extra !! .. but as I dont charge for this , i dont keep track of the time .... so I dont know .

shark hide is an aluminum coating .. coats and protects to keep the "shiney"
there is only one place in BC that sells it .. you'll have to "google" is and see if you can find it where you live

so now with it running , it's time to start to mount things perminantly .

With NO room behind the glove box , or the dash for that matter , I opted under the passenger seat . Wanting to make it all very easy to remove if necessary , I added plugs

now mounted on a SS plate , it is all removable If Joel needs to for any reason

As the owner of this truck I would like to say it is an absolute blast to drive! I have had it everywhere from the city/highways to trails and a few mud pitts now and I couldnt be happier about the swap. Also, I cant say enough about the workmanship of Corey aka. slacker. The amount of love he has for toyota trucks is amazing and his customer service has been phenominal.
Thanks for everything Corey!! I will be back for those high clearance fenders and the SAS!!
