so done today ... the lowers anyway ...

today is the last day the tub will be upsidedown ...

also cleaned up the rear hardware , hatch shocks , lock ketch , plate .

hatch shocks seemed to be in great shape , but the hardware was rusty .. so I bead blasted all of it , and cleaned it all up to bare metal again .. zinc'd and painted ... I left the shocks as bare metal .. ran them under my wire brush , and they kind of turned out like a brushed aluminum .. I think they look awesome , so I clear coated .. and now are ready to assemble .

I am also ready to send out the hatch and cover .. I'm also going to send out the interior canopy trim plate to be line-x'd ..

frame was still there .. it was thin , and rusting bad , but it was still there .. thing was , it wouldnt now fit the long bed with out modification , and I figured , no sence in working with the old stuff , might just as well build a new one to last another 20+ years

so that what I did .

ohhh ... and a peak at my next TREKKER build ..

don't mind the dust .. it's been sitting inside my shop for a while now .

there is one small rust hole on The right side .. front spring hanger , inside box steel .. you can see it in the pic .. it's so minor , I'm just going to weld in a patch , I see NO reason for a fish plate .

I'm going to clean it all up and POR-15 inside and out ... but I'm going to start a new thread for this one .

Yep ... but I'm shipping like this .. as it's less expencive where he lives .

If your missing those frame pieces, I have got;em
frame pieces ? which ones

Oh yeah, what length hatch strut are you using in the back? I think that the PO of mine installed some that were too long and with too much pressure and that may be causing some of my hatch frame flex leading contributing to my cracking issue
I'll have to do a measurement ... cuz , I dont know off hand .

i agree 100%, but maybe on your main site you can have a "project links" page that lists all of the threads to the current projects you are juggling
