I'm buying 3 partially complete units .. I'm going to build 2 , and use the other to build fiberglass moulds .. you can see it in the vendors section ..

Corey, I posted this on 4x4wire I think, but OOOHHHH man, I want one of your trekker molds. I have an 83 truck and it's in really pretty good shape, small amounts of rust on the bed, floorboard has a hole, but I would LOVE a back seat in this thing....turning it into a trekker would be so nice. I really have intended to buy a topper for it soon, but if the molds are coming....maybe I'll hold off. Any timeframe thoughts?

Man, one near by here, <100 miles sold a week or two ago. I would have bouoght it no problem if not for the fact I live in CA and it didn't pass smog. I'd love to have one of those trucks, it's my dream truck, but I settled for a 92 Excab instead.

are those extremely hard to find?

They're just pretty rare. Toyota only made a handful of the Trekkers, as well as the Rangers (?), and I think there was one more that they put out in the early 80's. They were the precursors to the 4Runners...

My buddy was selling one, but he went to iraq so i dont know if its still for sale or not. its on here too.

About 1,200 made. So I would say yes. I have only seen about five, ever.

way rare .. people just dont know about them ..

but I am going to do some educating along with you guys for help .:)

there were Wolverienies , Trailblazers , and Trekkers . 2500 in total .

Didn't know about the Wolverines and I forgot about the Trailblazer... Whoops.

THAT'S it... I was thinking "Ranger" because I knew it was a name that a domestic car company had used... In this case, the Chevy "Trailblazer".

Anyway, very cool. Looking forward to the build.
