why would anyone put a phone companies stickers on a car. if that is a poor attempt at a honda ricer joke at least spell it right. just remember that all of the valve timing and electroniclift control motors now were originally based hondas design, also i could go on for awhile about how hondas engine designs are more simplistic, user friendly and better in my book. there is no excuse for all of the tasteless riced hondas out there.

the 4 runner looks unique. cant wait until the SC. liked it until the leds killed it for me but it is your rig and your cash. put some more go instead of show in the runner

Ace, I'm just horsing around. Your runner is yours to modify according to your purpose. Some of us have divergent tastes and while form usually follows function, we each follow our own.

I have done some things on my runner build, the wisdom of which others questioned. It's cool; to each his own. Regardless of perspective, I am enjoying your thread and good nature.

I will share a little secret with you, mine will be brighter no matter what when I am done. I have always been planning on converting the hellas to HID (the backup lights is a new idea I will have to look at though!) thus making mine the BRIGHTEST 4runner on the streets. You know I have really bad malls around here that it has to navigate!

Nice looking truck for sure. I really like the black. That is the color I was wanting but could not seem to find just like the 5spd.

And yeah I want some TRD things on there, primarily the SC. But the rest of the TRD things now have for the most part other brands that have better copies. Such as the headers that I am getting. I can install them myself and they work better vs 8 hours at a muffler shop and a lot of $$.

But it will have more than enough TRD when I am done. I do like the TRD wheel/Tire combo on yours. The white lettering stands out really nice with your black truck. And the wheels look good. How much do those run?

Yeah, I just wish I could see it, I am going to get on my comp tonight and see it even if I am tired! Nice looking truck BTW.

And Too each there own for sure, I may not like someone?s else?s truck but I do like that they put work into it making it theirs.

And if I can dish it out I should be able to take it, I like to practice what I preach as much as possible (to an extent.)

Nice link, I knew that Honda was not even close to the first but I didin?t realize that it was 1960 that the first patent was made for a VVT setup.

 

So what does stage 2 consist of? A fart can muffler and maybe a body kit?

 

That is just the beginning of it!

I then need to get some 200HP TRD stickers that go along the whole side of the truck and lower it down by heating the coils until they lower so that it will look better. Then some Turbo and Supercharger and every other sticker I can get on it. Oh year can?t forget the racing stripes! (actually those might look good, you never know.)

Then some 24? wheels to go with the low look.

What am I missing?
