Thanks, it will look a lot better once i get it done.
The hoses are a mix of a kit and some custom work. I got some silicone hose from a shop that had some extra from a job and i used it from most of the hoese and then rigged the rest. Overall a VERY easy thing to do and they will last longer than normal hoses and i like the look (yes they are staying along with the stainless sleevs).
It costs me like $5 to do it but if you buy the hose i think it is about $25. Still cheaper than the regualr hoses would be. and i am glad i did replace them, the stock ong looked like the ones from the factory and some of them leaked.
You can get the hose from the internet and i think that pepboys/autozone might carry them.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, to each his own
But after adding 100 pounds of crap to your ride, have you noticed a change in the gas mileage?
I understand the whole being broke thing and not having money to do the things that you want (lift, tires, sas, bumpers, winch etc. etc.) but in order for your ride to last long enough for those mods, you need to take care of it. Toyota's are great, but they do require maintenance, which costs money, money that you may have already spent on map lights, led bars and hood scoops.
One other thing to think about: does your insurance company know about all of the things that you have added? Most policies only cover $500 to $1000 worth of accessories, and most of the time it's not automatic, you have to ask, and pay, for the coverage. Just a thought in case it ever gets stolen or you get into an accident.
All of that stuff, if anything, makes your truck worth less, if you ever sell it, I know that you said you are planning on keeping it forever, but things change and the future is never set in stone.
Last but not least: I agree with just about everything that everyone has said about your ride, but here is two they missed:
WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU PUT $25 EBAY LIGHTS ON A $40,000 4RUNNER???
(I know you didn't pay that much for it, but for god's sake they look awful)
FAKE CARBON FIBER (THE PLASTIC THING AROUND YOUR "CONE AIR FILTER" HAS NO PLACE IN THIS WORLD, ON ANY CAR, TRUCK OR MOTORCYCLE, ON ANYTHING, EVER!!!!
Sorry, just had to let it all go.............

my stereo guy installed the crossovers for the component in the panel above the woofer, with the tweeters in the sail panels up front, in back they are just tied to some of the structure of the door if i remember correctly. MUCH cleaner.
my rear door:

and the cargo area:

you see no wires what so ever. i dont really like the amps on the back seat, but i didnt want to tear up the interior panels too much. plus my sleeping platform will eventually cover that stuff up.

And actually I have only spent about $100 on things that were just for looks and don?t d anything. Everything else was free.
They do know that I have a nice radio but other than that there is not much extra on it right now.
And yeah I know it is worth no more than I got it for. But the beauty is that I can take it back to stock if I want to. I still have all the parts.
Well they were extra lights from a broken light bar a friend had and I wanted to see what I could do with them since I knew I would be getting a new bumper anyways I did what you see. They actually work scary good but I do fully admit look horrible.
And the intake is something off a civc, I will fully admit it. This was laying around the shop and I needed one so I took it until I can get a good one. It works and lets air into the engine and cleans it on the way (given not the best) but it works until I can get a good one.
Well, well 2 in 10 mins what do you know about that! Thanks I plan to keep working on it and have it by my said when they bury me many many years from now.

Well, after a smoke and shotgunning a few beers, I've calmed down a bit
Some of the stuff looks okay, but I still don't like most of it, but hey it's your truck and you drive it, so what everyone else says doesn't really matter
One thing that I am always reminded of when I see stuff like this, is what my grandfather said to me a long time ago when he saw a lowrider or something:
"Some people have more cents than sense"
I've always tried not to be one of those people.....
PS, I can't talk too much crap, I still have a tape player that the previous owner installed, most of my money has been trying to undo things that he did....

As for the rest of the wires, they have since been cleaned up.
Oh, i would have put the amp on the seatback but i use it for hauling things a lot so it would not work for me.

Good god gracious, that's a lot of things hanging on your truck. IMHO, I think don't hesitate on all the blue rectangular lights, remove at once. So as the LED on the back of the truck, paint the hood scoop if you want to keep it. Also remove is the grill bar, hope you didn't have to pay for those. I think grill bars has no actual use whatsoever, it dosen't protect or look better than a say, TJM or ARB.
Sorry for my sugestions, but I think it is evident that all of us here love Toyota trucks too much. It doesn't have to be our truck, but we treat it like our own, that's why we are here all in each other's business.

Tex,
As others have said... You put a LOT of time into this truck. I can appreciate that. I went the other direction with my build up... Instead of adding as much stuff as possible, I removed parts I considered useless without compromising comfort and aesthetics. What we have in common is our desire to "upgrade" our trucks - whatever/whichever way that may be.
I take it you either have trouble seeing or you like bright lights very much. I think the NASA rovers can see your car from Mars. J/K buddy.
Any thoughts on going with a retrofit HID projector kit? Might save you a lot of weight, and from the looks of it, you have the resources/ability to undergo that type of project. Something to consider if you haven't already.
Thumbs up for sharing pictures of your hard work.

The experience you've gained putting all the "stuff" on could be valuable down the road when you start with the big things. I certainly appreciate the time you've spent making the Runner your own, even though it's not to my personal taste.
I mean...geez...I've seen less lights on a dressed up semi!

The LED?s on the back look a lot better in person, they stay for now. I have thought about painting the scoop when I cut out the hole for it but don?t know where I would get the paint.
The grill guard stays, at least until I get a new bumper. I like the way it looks and I don?t care what people say I have seen these save more than 1 truck from a deer.
And I don?t mind suggestions. If I did I would not have posted this, I knew that I would get these.

LOL, well I can see fine but I do like lights. The real reason for them was that all but the middle hella and 1 set of fogs were free and I said what the heck. I can see when driving though! On the backroads around here it quite nice to be able to see, most of the time I just use the regular headlights and the stock fogs that I put silerstars in. It give me basic driving light. I will use the 2 hellas from time to time though.
And yeah I have considered doing a proper HID conversion but this kit I got works so well it is kind of hard to justify the $400 for it right now. Maybe some day?.
Opps, I knew I forgot something!
I know it takes your breath away :-)

LOL, yeah I have a few lights?.
Right now I don?t have the time for anything more than getting someplace I need to go off-road. So right now it just gets mild off-road use. In the future (and when my work slows down in the winter) it will indeed be used off-road. Down the road that is all it will be used for!
