Stalled out for the moment, i have got real busy at work the last few weeks and have not had any time or $$$ to spare.

I am going to get my headers here in a week or 2 and those will go on. After that i don't know what is next.

I did come up for a way to use those blue lights. I am going to turn the cargo rack into a light bar. I just need to find an extra bar since i need to use the rack every now-and-then. but this will allow me ot have the great use of the lights without the horrible look.

If anyone has any extra parts to the stock roof rack let me know.

Are you going to be running headers with a stock exhaust?

OOF.

so long as it makes you happy, that's what's most important.
but did you ever think of your 4runner's feelings?

Fluster, that you in disguise????

LOL, i knew a bump like this was coming at some point. Guess now is as good a time as any.

Yes i thought of my 4runners feelings, it wanted to try on everything at once so it could decide what it wanted to keep.

Oh, putting my neck out? Go back and read the whole thread, this is not called sticking your neck out, this is called being crucified!

Yeah, I know. I keep thinking the same thing but just have not got around to getting anymore. Plus the roof has been bugging me about how it is not fair that the bumper gets them all!

P.S. The blue lights have since been removed.

When i first saw the rectangular lights mounted on the bumper pointing to the side, I thought you had wired them into the turn signals. Meaning, when the left turn signal was on, it would flip a relay and turn on the left mounted light, to brighten up the path as you turned into it. The same goes for the right hand side mounted light. But, I guess they are just hooked into a relay and switch....correct?

Yeah, they were all wired to the same relay and would all come on at once. Though that idea is a good one. But also illeagal.

Those lights are gone now too. going to move them up to a light rack on top, which they actually came from at first lol.

hey Ace, how much of your post count do you attribute to replies to people ragging on you about your 4runner? it's funny how much people can't stand seeing your 4runner, and feel like if they post a smart comment you'll change your ways. i think you should count how many times some one has mentioned "autozone" or "ebay". can't wait to see the next phase of your build!

btw - is this not the thread that will never die?

LOL, come to think of it a lot of posts actually. I have at least 20 - 50 in this thread alone.

And yes, this IS the thread that just will not die no matter how hard i try.

The next phase will be to totally finish the inside as soon as it warms up. I had hoped to do the SC next but after the break in i have to do the inside first.

Well that one looks like the picture will all the lights on. It is actually a lot brighter in person that the picture makes it look like (yes really).

There is another one with the HID's on instead of the low beams and it is even brighter.

I'm sorry I missed this thread a year ago. I guess the cliff notes would read, too many lights, too many exposed wires, and too many TRD stickers.

First of all, there can never be too many lights.

Second of all, never too many TRD decals.

Third of all, your absolutely correct, there are too many of both things.
