they make roof rack kits for the can back...

matt, get me some info... if its a good enough deal, i might be willing to part with some cash...

as of right now, tho, 500 bucks for one is just t..0oo much...

also, keep in mind, when asking, that i need the one with the dog access thru the back window... gotta keep an eye on the pooch...

The roof rack option holds 150lb idk if thats per cross bar or total but im gonna send off a email to them right after this post.

As far as a doggy door idk if they do that but there is a window to see into the back with side windows as options only available in black if you get the side windows

Ill also ask what kind of a deal we get with a group purchase of 5 there single purchase price is $1200 plus $300 for Cross bar Roof Rack...

ugh... nevermind... id rather have the soft topper...

or, go with my original idea and get the AllPro Baja rack for 300 and have a custom canvas cover made for it... much cheaper than 1200...

Yeah both brands are too much for my wallet. For that much I can probably buy a used welder, tube bender, some steel, and maybe have enough left over to pay an upholstery shop to sew me a top.

x2. Mines been working great. And I think I got less then $20 in it. Only thing I wish I had done and still might do is buy the relay sockets instead of just using spade plugs and electrical tape.

Well, I have ZERO electrical knowledge... Frankly, it scares me... If you wanna make me one, I'd gladly pay you 40 bucks I ship it to me...

If you follow any of that, do not follow any of the diagrams I had posted if that's the thread I am thinking of. I am not 100% sure I did those diagrams the way I have mine currently hooked up. lol.

yeah, but i think he's out of stock

he makes some nice stuff, too.

after doing the math, if i made 2 of them, each would be about $30-$35 shipped, with ceramic plugs and 12+ gauge wiring. shipping is what kills me. for small orders, the shipping costs as much as what i'm getting. the more stuff i order, the cheaper the individual item

Like I said, I'd gladly pay 35 bucks... The only thing is, I don't know if the taco harness is the same as the hilux...

i'll look through your build, and see if it is. if not, then it's as easy as ordering one set of plugs versus another
