might not have been a bad idea to put the washer /spacer on the outside of the new pulley to hold the pulley down a little better .. but looks like the parts are just getting made thinner and thinner(cheaper).. good luck ! I wish i could go to KOH this year!!

Looks to be a wobble in the power steering pump pulley at idle. It does seem to smooth out a bit once above idle. But it looks like my next project will be replacing the bearing for the pulley shaft.

Video demonstrating the wobble.

It isn't the bearing. The pulley is bent. Very common issue with the 3RZ/2RZ when its overtightened. If you can find a pump assy with a good pulley, I would just replaced the pump assy and be done with it.

No problem. I didn't even need to do it, but it's done now.

I actually did use the spacer on the outside. I also used liberal amounts of blue locktite on the little bolts and torqued them down properly.

Wow man, your truck has come along pretty good. I'm really diggin' it. Looks like your steering/front end is starting to see its limits on a regular basis now, good stuff.

One of the best parts about your truck (imho) is how low it sits. How low will you be able to stay with the SAS and HS? I hope its not too much higher then now.

And again, excellent truck and good work man.

This will be a nice addition, that's for sure.

I'm deff starting to get to the limits. It's fun though.
The truck is deff pretty low for what it is. Since there haven't been too many people using the TG Tacoma SAS kit, I'm not too sure how low it will stay. I think it will get tall but settle down to be maybe an inch or two taller than now.
I may be getting a new job soon, if so, SAS progress will speed up, a lot.

And thank you for the compliments.

The prettiness came in today. I won't have a chance to install it until Sunday the 5th.
Needless to say it's going to sit on my dresser so I can stare at it the whole time. Hope my girlfriend doesn't mind.

So since no one got the hint from the above post ill just say it. Truck is getting a camouflage paint job within the next month or so. I found a company that produces spray cans that are supposed to match federal military colors.
They have a few different color greens and I'm not sure which I'm gonna use. The can on the top is from the sample in the pic above. I think I like the color that is on the bottom left can in the following picture. Opinions?

Eh...you know, I am not really a fan of the military pattern camo for the trucks...but maybe that is because I am forced to see them EVERY day...but just the same I am tired of seeing all the all tan trucks...lmao, if it done right I think it should look really good...and knowing you scoob it will probably look amazing, or you'll fix it!

I don't have stencils or anything. It will be free handed. I work on a marine base so I see the camo patterns and splotches every day. I've got ideas for design and whatnot.
