i figure ide update my build... as soon as i sell my car the following will be done..

dana 60 front-ausie locker

ausie for my 14 bolt.

adapter from my auto to a 4cyl t-case to go pass drop (i might go duals while im at it.) if i have enough money left im gonna exo it..

some stuff ive done..

new 37/12.5/17 pro comp extremes with the newer dodge rims to make it less wide (going for street legal.lol)

hme made fancy 2 tone fender flares,

new drivers head light (broke on easter jeep safari in moab) and bright blue bulbs in the head lights,

new magnaflow cat and finished the exhaust from my flowmaster to the back,

i made quick disco mud flaps..

thats all i can think of right now. im postin some pics of how it sits now minus the mud flaps and ill try to get some pics of when i put the 60 and stuff in!

o and i straightened the front bumper back up AND removed the revolvers lol. as of right now the frame hieght is 27 inches from lowest point on the frame. any one know what stock is?

Just an FYI, I can barely stop my 4runner with duals and only 2.28's in both cases at times when wheeling. And I run 4 wheel discs. Just be aware of that when your in double low. The torque converter in the A/T doubles the crawl ratio, so the motor will probably idle through your brakes. I notice it most when the front end is up hill and I need to back up(less pressure to the rear brakes). Its hard to stop it when I am in that position. With 4.7s and both cases in low, there would be no chance of stopping it IMO. It literally will drag the front end down the hill.

IMHO, duals with 4.7s in the rear is too low for an A/T. I know several guys who have it and don't like it for the reasons I listed above.

They better work better than just good. If you're running the stock master cylinder though, then they aren't working any better than mine do. I have no issue with how my brakes perform at all. I can lock them up on a dime on the street. Its stopping it when the tranny amplifies the crawl ratio to 400:1. There is only so much they can hold.

IMHO, I would go with dual 2.28s. I would never go lower than I am right now.

i wont be using the 4.7s all the time probly never. i just want option when im wheelin up somethin ill most likley just throw the rear case in low aka just 4.7s so basickly dual cases. the money is spent. i totally agree with what your saying tho, and thanks for your input on it to!
