Mtriple's 2002 4Runner Build-Up Thread

Well almost... I've slowly been collecting all of my mods for my runner and the final parts arrived today to get started. I was going to tackle it this weekend but after speaking with my buddy who is a service writer at th local Toyota dealership, I'm going to hold off until I can get my truck in next week for the ball joint recall. He thought that the dealership would give me a hard time seeing a lift kit on the truck. Anyway, on to the good stuff, pictures!

SS 1.1 lift that Ive had since last fall. There was no point in putting it on for the winter so I decided to wait until spring.

Tires and wheels. Tires are Firestone Destination MT's 285/75/16

Wheelers 16x8 alloy powdercoated black

Misc. stuff from wheelers. Black lugs, caps, ARB tire kit, steering rack bushings, front brake lines, and some other stuff.

Hella Rallye 4000 (3) for the front bumper. Bunch of parts for the antenna whip mod, diff breather mod, timing belt and water pump replacement.

10 yards of Ensolite and a bunch of Raammat from Raamaudio. I probably wont get to this for another month or so. Plans are to sound deaden the entire interior and then start on the audio and sleeping platform.

I probably wont be able to get to it for another 2 weeks but standby for updates. In the meantime, I will be working on removing all the chrome on my truck.

I'll be starting in a couple weeks. Need to take care of the recall this week, then its just a matter of getting a couple days in the garage to get it done.

UMMMMMM are you like the fuggin personification of patience?!!!!! If I have a part for more than 7 days without it going on my runner, I become severely distraught and plan large bank heists and my hair falls out.

Delayed gratification is the best tho. You are gunna have FUN!

I've been working on my BMW for the last year and its finally at the point where it is driveable. I had to get it done in order to be able to work on the runner which is my DD. The thread title of my project pretty much sums it up:

http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=97962

I NEED to get this done before my vacation at the end of October. I want to take it up to the Michigan u.p. and then to Ohio to visit family. I'm running out of time...

Wow, I bet it's been tough to look at all those parts just laying around for this long...I know you're ready to get them on.

I noticed you picked up some Hella 4000s...you ought to convert them to HID while your waiting . It's made a big difference in my Hellas.

Looking forward to finished pics.

Damn, that's a nice e30 you have there! Good work so far, those style 5's are going to look great! Someday I hope to pick up an e30 as a project car. Good luck on both vehicles.
