You rust free peoples, you. I'm doin' good Chef. Looking forward to Spring showing up, we've been below average in temps so far. At least it's drying up this week so we should be able to get some tilling done...it's almost time for planting!
I know Jason, that skid's got a few dents too and is a little more concave than when it started, mostly it's just scraped. I know some of y'all have concave tanks so not complaining. Still looking for that money tree.....

The gas gauge is sitting at half with 140 miles, but it always goes down faster on the second half.

No Chef, I haven't. Mebbe if my front dif explodiates I'd consider a SAS, but this is my daily driver too. I'd like to keep it civilized enough to drive everywhere like I already do and it doesn't need to be too nuts with the family (kid) all along. While I am on rare occasion more limited than I'd like an addition of even a rear locker would alleviate most issues I come across.

IF I were to end up with a separate dd all bets are off....er.....I mean a separate dd AND a substantial bank account.

Missed your post Avi, thanks!

Went 240 miles on that last tank in the 96, put 14.654 gallons back in. Fueleconomy.gov says I got 18 mpg when adjusted for my bigger tires. Considering the rack and lights plus extra armor weight I'm not complaining.

It's actually been warm these past couple of days and not a peep out of the moo box. It would have definitely done it by now.

Other than that I finally pulled the sensors for the oil pressure and coolant temp through a hole in the firewall, by the gas pedal. I've gotta order a coolant tee for the temp sensor and wait for the next oil change to put in the oil pressure sensor/sender/cheap thingy that should do the job. The volt meter is working great.

Hi Hab! Very nice that the moo box is behaving in the warmer weather. Have you put that fix up in the cheap mods thread?

Yep I did, thanks for the reminder. Haven't done much else, finally got around to soldering some of the wiring I did, got more to get around to. Mostly been getting the garden ready for planting. Once this cold front finishes going by and temps warm back up it'll be time to do some hardening. Again this year I am late planting the cool weather stuff. Ah, well.
And how does your garden grow?

We are still too cold here and wet...very unseasonable weather. I don't think we've hit 70deg yet. Hopefully, we will soon. :-)

Hmmm, somehow I missed the 'moo box' fix post in the cheap mods thread and it's only been there over a month. Guess I need to pay closer attention.

Hab, am seeing the reports of tornadoes touching down in the St. Louis metro area this morning. Hope you guys and your loved ones are safe.

We rarely have a damaging tornado out here so I have no idea how scary they must be.

Avi- I know, I know. I had it for years and it didn't bug me but then we got to talking about fixes for it and curiosity got the best of me. Looking at the now unavailable Toyota kit made me think a DIY would be simple so I did it for those interested in repairing it, to prove it could be easily done.
Whinny... ...good ol' truck.

RW- No worries for us, once again the bad stuff went north and south of us. Some missing roofs, collapsed carport, tree and other damage in some areas but nobody was badly hurt.
Our spring has been unseasonably cold too, but it's starting to warm up. I'm itching to get stuff in the ground.

Beautiful Chef. We've got daffodils now, won't get irises- or roses- for a while yet. I'm goin' with Avi, Chef Mary. I was just over on your thread, your mom looks great as always, happy 80th to her. That was a neat thing you did for her (not sure if I'm talkin' the flex or the pianist).

Why have single glitches when you can have multiples?

Just got back from a weekend of trail building (75 people create 1 mile of new trail) and backpacking. Didn't get to see the Aurora Borealis that was supposed to be visible further south than usual. We were just below the maybe line. Anyone get lucky?

Hi Hab, it was clear here and I did not see it either. Just got back from a great ski session with 20deg temps and snow falling the entire time. :-)

Post up a pic or two of the trail building if you have 'em. Isn't it amazing what a focused group of people can get accomplished in a relatively short period of time?
