On the note of airing up and down, I've pulled the valves out of the stems to air down and when using a compressor with a large enough tank, I've also pulled them to fill directly from the quick-connect instead of using the tire chuck (like when setting the bead). . . As far as airing up after the trail, I have a 4 way hose that I built to inflate all 4 tires at once and to the exact same pressure. It also has a radiator valve on it that works great for deflating all 4 at the same time & to the exact same pressure...

An old buddy of mine has been wheeling a Scout II for longer than I've known him or can remember. He specifically installed a second valve stem on his wheels (opposite the original, like yours) so that he can check his tire pressure when airing up without removing the fill hose and slowing the process if it's not quite full yet.

I pushed the 4Runner into the shop this last weekend, I wanted to work on the sliders but it’s a little hard when I can’t move the vehicle. So I worked on the rear cargo area so I can get all my wheeling gear in place. I didn’t finish the project but I did make some progress.
The plan is to install a 1st Gen 4Runner roll bar; it will be a good base to mount all my stuff and since I’ve always been a 1st Gen guy, it adds a touch of nostalgia to the new 4Runner.
The front legs have to be cut down to fit the 3rd Gen 4Runner, most people re-use the stock plates but I had a set of Ballistic plates that have four mounting holes and are more heavy duty.
Sorry for the crappy pictures, I forgot my camera and had to use my phone.

Before I could bolt the roll bar in place I needed to figure out a better storage solution. I carry a lot of gear with me, and since I do a ton of wheeling without much notice it needs to be in the truck at all times. Here’s a picture of the Turbo 4Runner and all my gear, the cargo area of the 3rd Gen is even smaller.

I decided to build a removable rack that will bolt to the roll bar and hold two Action Packers above the subwoofer box along with my Hi-Lift, it will have expanded steel on the bottom.

And some better pictures

nice. i been thinking of a similar idea but i never know when and if i need to fold the seats for whatever reason. i too have been playing with the idea of it being removable but i have installed the 3 point seat belt in the place were i want the cargo area to bolted to

I hope the supercharger will be back the day before or after Thanksgiving, otherwise it will be the following week. I hope it's soon!

They are just some random tabs I had around, you could use just about anything.

Sweet idea! Well executed as always. Why did you choose the cargo area for the co2? It seems to take up a lot of space. Are you using the stock spare location for anything? It would take some plumbing to make it useful but I'm sure you've already thought of that and have a good reason for putting it where you did. I guess I'm just curious as what that reason would be.
