Yet another Ebay chip

I was just searching Ebay for alittle bit until i came upon this so called "Performance module." It's stating its not one of those radioshack resistors. Total gimmick...

if something is too good to be true it usually is. That chip looks like nothing more with a whole bunch of resistors, diodes, caps put together to do nothing.

And he sure goes a long way to try to convince you that "ITS THE REAL THING". "And if you act now I'll throw in an actual, honest to god, alien zombie implant detector...FREE OF CHARGE!!!"

Not sure about the one listed, but this is what they are doing right here, and it does work. https://www.yotatech.com/~corey/tech/dr_z_ect/dr_z.htm

LOL all the circuit board does is control the bells a whistles, namely the LED's, when it come's down to the actual workings, I'll bet it's a resistance design system, like the typical mod we all know about.

ebay listing quote "This is the inside of our Chip It is an actual CHIP!!!" a Chip in a CHIP? CHIP=Cheesy Hoax Inside this Package. (does he mean integrated circuit?) a deal @ $40??? the only ACTUAL picture is fuzzy, and is the same pic for every car listed, why is that? its the bottom of the board and its total crap! read his feedback!!!
an actual chip could be a simple 555 timer which is activated when toggling between modes, thats a REAL chip too. frito-lay and doritos make chips. stay away from this stuff.
send me $20 and ill get ya 10hp w/ my telepathic abilities. i get 12 on mine!

Does anyone know anything about the Redline Powerchip. It says that it installs at the air temperature sensor or coolant temperature sensor. I have an '04 Tundra V8 and want to know if it is worth installing.

It "does" work in the sense that it will trick the ECU into running the engine rich. More fuel = More power (as long as you can get more air as well).

Save the money though and spend 20 cents on a resistor, or a couple of bucks on a potentiometer.. it's the same thing:

"American Peformance Entheusiests"

Buying from a 'company' that can't even spell it's own name correctly has got to make you suspicious

Word.
Lots of mis-speeeled words in that ad...
One of my pet peeves too.
