most china brands and aftermarket blubs with the "xenon" gas isnt really all that many may claim...my theory is its the same stock replacement bulb with high temp blue transparent paint on the glass.....if it was the "xenon" gas that turns blue...you shouldnt have to paint the glass

Lightbulb Best Fake H.I.D.'s

Best Fake H.I.D.'s I've ever seen are Motion R 6000K H4's. I got mine off eBay for $50. They're 90/100w, so brighter than most other brands (including PIAA) and the 6000K is really nice. I've had them for 8 months without any problems. Just make sure you don't touch the glass part when you install them, and if you do, dip them in alcohol to clean off the oil. Pic of my lights with stock ones on a Land Cruiser:

Here are my superwhite bulbs, I installed them about 5-6 months ago. I forgot the name of the bulbs, the package is somewhere in the house, I will post a pic later on. Yeah I know I need clear corners

Were you referring to real HIDs or the fake "HIDs" previously mentioned? Real HIDs are +/- $500 but should out last the car, use 1/4th the power which puts less strain on the alternator. When you use these fake HIDs your putting higher wattage bulbs (more heat/wasted energy) with a light limiting film over the bulb (even more heat) you shouldn't expect them to last as long as the stock bulbs. Not to mention half the bulbs out there cost about .02 to make. Just to have an alternate opinion on this new phenomena (I have had "xenons" in the past and used to think they were brighter) but they don't last as long, emit less light, use more electricity, create more glare for oncoming traffic, and create more heat than stock. If you don't believe me... check out this experiment conducted by The University of Michigan- Transportation Research Institute. Experiment

Just my $.02
