Why not use the ones on police cars? I have one myself and you can buy them. I have no idea what they cost either. In order for you to do this, you would have to cut your door. I don't think most of you are going to mind anyways after seeing what most of you do to your trucks Check this auction out to see what I mean: Ebay auction

I used a relay per each light set. So 3 relay's in total. If you want a constant power source you can always wire the light switches to the fuse box for the dome light.
I put one light switch close to the dimmer for the winsheild pilllar lights next switch is right next to that one for the front bumper lights.
The switch for the rollbar lights is close to the cigarette lighter.

Here's a little diagram how each relay is wired to the lights

i know its an old topic but any updates on this? i fabbed some 1/8" steel into a mount coming out of my hood channel and out enough for the hood to open. it secures with the farthest back fender bolt and thats all. they vibrate like MAD. when i hit their resonant frequency i'm surprised the lights can hang on. i'm wanting to get them further back toward the windshield to clear the hood that way, but im out of ideas. any progress here?

I know this might be a little late to the thought process, but I've seen several times when someone who had their lights mounted like this (on Jeeps) have bumped the light so it swings into their windshield and cracks/damages the glass. I think a lot of you guys have them mounted so they don't move at all, but it's just something to keep in mind.
