can I fit 32bfg on a stock 4runner? any feedback is appreciated. I was told by 4wheel parts it can be done as long as running boards go.

 

Depending on what model you have...yr, trim,lift,etc......they may fit on the truck. But your going to having rubbing issues if your stock. I ran 32x11.50 BFG AT's on my 90 runner w/ 4in BS wheel. They cleared for normal street driving but rubbed at full lock turning. They definitely rubbed off-road till i got a lift. If your trying to put 32's on stock wheels im pretty sure you'll have problems clearing suspension components as well. Hope that helps.

 

I'm 99% sure that 32's won't fit on a stock 4Runner.

 

What year Runner are these going on? By 32", do you mean 265/75 R16's? If you're talking about 265's, they will not present any fitment problems. I had that size on my rig for 2 years without one single rubbing issue...frame, running boards or anything else. The BFG A/T's will definitely fit without a single issue.

If you have a lift, you might want to consider an all terrain 285. They will likely rub the front valance and front of the running boards, but minor trimming takes care of that. I went from 265's to 285's and have been very pleased with my decision. Without a lift, 265's will be the way to go.

 

4 wheel parts is absolutely correct. they might rub some axle links or something when you turn but thats not that big of a deal if it doesnt bother you.

You'll be fine, you may have minor rubbing issues, but not on the control arm or anything other than your fender well

 

well, on my 98 SR5 4x4 4runner, i fit 265/75/16 buckshots, which are 32s, with no real rubbing issues. the only rubing you will get is when the steering wheel is at full lock and the front suspension is stuffed, but that only happened for me for about the 1st 5000 miles or so, as that's when the tires wore down enough to clear the plastic that it was rubbing on.

 

just so you know you can not get any 32x11.5 tires for a 16 inch wheel. kind of sucks 11.5 is a great width.

Most 3rd gen 4wd's came with 265/70 stock

 

my 2nd gen has 31's with room to spare. if you hit a big bump i am not so sure about it lol.

 

If youre talking about a 2nd gen. Yes they will fit. My T-bars are up maybe half an inch. And they dont rub.

 

OK I see this is in the 95.5+ forum so I take it you dont have a 2nd Gen.

 

3rd Gen 4Runner though.

 

Just Lift the thing, a little bigger tire say 32 over 31 only raises you up 1/2 inch. but if you re going for look and not to wheel the crap out of it then just get a cheap puck lift like revtek, fit some 285's it will look sweet and you can use it off road, i did for about a year no problems.

Ya, that's a tough choice, but if you have the 16" wheels, that's much better. More choices. That's what I did, I sold all my wheels to go to a 16". I haven't bought the tires yet, but I'm looking at a 265/75, 255/85, or 285/75. 11.5" wide seems just a bit much for a 1st gen, but maybe for a newer truck it's a better fit.

 

What are the respective tire sizes?
