Clemson is not in GA, it is in SC. This is where I go to school, and that shop is just about 2 miles down the road from me!

So, is my mistake where I thought it was, or buying the winch from them, or maybe at that price, or maybe buying one at all??

Haha, no, your only mistake was confusing SC with GA...although I've lived in GA before, and I have to admit that I like it better than SC!

Which winch?

Gadget,
What kind of winch did you get for $500? I've been looking at getting one but haven't gotten around to it yet and that sounds like a good price, if it's for a good winch.

I beleive they are talking about the Warn M8000 w/ 80 foot cable and hawse fairlead which is what I have. If it truly is free shipping that is a good deal. I paid $604 for mine w/ free shipping from Central 4WD 15 months ago.

Rockstomper synth line dosen't include a special hook but he has lots to choose from if you want to buy them. The stock hooks work w/ Rockstomper line. Its probably the cheapest source for synth line.
