Will these bulbs work for my headlights??

Will these bulbs work for my headlights??
I just picked up a pair of PIAA Super white bulbs from my uncle. These were sitting in a ricer car his nephew previously owned, I don't know how long they've been sitting there but they're still in the plastic casing. I took the bulb out of the casing and started shaking it to see if I hear anything rattling (if burnt or something) and no noise. So I'm guessing they're ok.
Anyways, I wanna try to put these in my 96 4runner. I heard of ppl putting bulbs in their trucks, having them for a year, and then trying to put different bulbs afterwards and the previous bulbs like fried the wiring or something. I dunno.
But yea, these are the PIAA Super White Platinum Series H-4 Bulbs. 60/55W. Kelvin Rating of 3800.
In the instruction manual it asks these questions:
1) Lamp must take H-4 bulbs.
2) Lamp must be able to dissipate the heat created by this upgrade. *higher wattage bulbs will generate more heat
3) Bulb seat is clean (what is a bulb seat?)
4) Harness cannot be damaged. (How do I check that? Just look over it?)
5) If you are installing a higher wattage bulb, you must check to see if the relay harness is capable of the extra amperage. (How do I check that?)
So basically, would I be able to use these without hurting anything? And is there a write-up for installing new bulbs, or is it just REALLY easy?
Mpulver I know you recently put in new bulbs so I'm hoping you'll chime in.
And you too WhiteSR5 cuz i know you know a TON about this stuff
THanks!
