I'm looking to buy a set of gauges from toyotapartsdude in the classified section. He's got a set of sr5 gauges with tach from a v6 90 4 runner. will they be plug and play compatiable with my 90 v6 pickup? if done some searchin the answer may have been there but i missed it. Any one have an idea if this will work correctly?

 

They should work, you'll need to swap the oil pressure switch with the oil pressure sender before hooking up your new gauges or you'll fry the oil pressure gauge.

 

I new i had to swap the oil pressure sending unit, but thanks for the reminder. I'm just looking for some confirmation that the gauges will be what i need before i spend the cash.

 

You should also check the speedometer drive, whether it is mechanical (cable-driven) or electronic and that that matches what your truck has, at least if you are planning to swap the speedo in as well.
