Hey Sassy. As Corey mentioned, I got the Indiglo set off Ebay. The reverse Indiglo is much more of what I want. If they make a set for the '99, I'd get 'em. The set I have is a white face that will turn entirely blue or green. I keep it dim as it's bright. It's kool, but the reverse Indiglo will only light up the numbers. It's more subtle and what I tried to do with my stock faces. Make sure the set installs without removing the needles. Mine did, and it made the install easy. I can email instructions if you need 'em. Go for it...sounds kool!

Hey Sleepy. The whole dash pod needs to come out...may as well paint it silver then. The factory indicator has a 1/8" thick frosted green circle with a small tab. A clear mini bulb lights it up. I bought a clear blue Japan plastic pencil case. It's stiff and thin so I figured I could cut and shape it easily. I used 2 layers, sanding the first layer with 400 sandpaper to give it the frosted look. Put the clear layer on top and cha-ching! It looks kool! It takes time, but it looks factory and the color is nice.

It's not hard to get it out? I don't like to touch things that I think will break, it makes me nervous especially in my new toy. Let me see if I can find something thin and blue and plastic.

Butnut, that looks really nice w/ the blue signals. I guess mine would look really cool w/ the red ones (since mine is red). That would be really cool. Butnutk, is it a great effort to take the dash pod out to put those in? I mean is it a pain to do, or can anyone do it? I have a blown bulb behind my tach. and I want to change it or put in indiglo guages right away. :beaver:

Butnut, another ? for you...I see on your dash you have the indicator what gear you are in PRNP21. In your 3rd gen, is there a stock one there or is it just not in use? :beaver:

Sorry Ryan...I don't understand yer last question. Everything is stock. I do know the layout changes from year to year. Sassy, I sent ya an email.
How's this...since I'm working on Sleepy's paint chips on Sunday, if time permits, I'll do the blue turn sig mod, and do a write up of the dash R&R for those of you wanting to do gauge face mods, bulb replacement etc? I'll take pics and give it to Mark to do his tech magic. Sound good?

Ok. I'm in a good mood. Remember my Altezza JDM side marker I did a few months back? I stupidly kinked a 1" horizontal crease under my drivers marker...with a plier! :pat: I was trying to close up a slight gap under the marker. I waited months for the best dent buster to work on it...he kept jerkin' me around. Today a dent buster who a friend referred me to fixed it perfectly. I came home and reapplied the rustproofing around the hole. While waiting for it to dry, I figured I should look for that blue material to do the turn sig mod. I found it and the original green insert. Looking at the insert, it hits me that I have an upholstery hole punch the same size. One whack with the mallet and the slug is perfect. I had to hand cut mine with an Xacto and it took a while. I made 2 with the tabs that will lock the 2 pieces in. Simple. Sleepy, you're gettin' blue turn sigs Sunday. I'm so happy my truck is perfect again. It really bugged the crap out of me everytime I saw my booboo.

Yeah, I agree Butnut, you are a very good person at doing things with your hands. Very creative and whatnot. I have not know you that long, but the time I have I have been very impressed. Keep up the great work! :beaver:
