Boy, AK really doesn't care about anyone's safety does he? I'd like to and I am not even remotely involved in this mess.

You've already dropped alot on your Runner why not just spend more and get some Inland Truck UCA, you can grab a good deal on e-bay, there were a few sets on there not to long ago and the guy had a bunch more. Go to the For Sale page, and I think it was under Vendor Advertising. Good luck.

You just got 285s, right? I didn't think they rubbed on the a-arms, only on the body near the pinch weld, no?

Most people have no rubbing issues w/ 285s. Just get new wheels with more back spacing if it's that big of an issue. Or get a 1-2" BL, pound the pinch weld flat and you'll be OK.

Ya, that meat is there for a reason, I certainly wouldn't want it to let go on the interstate. pictures of that would surely end up on ogrish.com.

Have you tried a 1/4" spacer? It fixed my problem on my 96 with 285's and stock rims

You can get them for $15 or so from the auto parts store.
