I decided to jsut buy some wheels... got some 4 inch back spaced 16x8 yewww haw !!!

yeah, i get just a *bit* of rub w/ my 285's (@ the upper control arm)

that 1/4" spacer might be the ticket. Doesn't that effect the alignment? or???

Just check the length of stud sticking out after the spacer is added. I know that with my aftermarket rims, the flange is so thick that I don't get as much thread engagement, add a spacer and that's even less. mine don't use the stock nuts so they don't go into the holes like the stock nuts do.

Doesnt affect alignment. PLENTY of threads left with stock wheels. I also run them on my 88 4Runner. Never had a problem with either truck.
