Since some people think the new ones are for soccer moms, I was thinking of getting either some "TRD on-road" or "TRD mall-terrain" decals made....

Those would be perfect for the 20"+ wheel crowd too.

The copycat ones were only $20 shipped but those days might be over. I actually bought two sets since I've heard the fakies can fade after several years but even then I'm still under what the dealer charges which I've heard in some places almost $50 a side.

I like how the faux ones install using windex and being able to "adjust" it for a little bit til you have it perfect and then just allow to dry and compared to my friend's real ones it's hard to tell unless you look at the very edge and you can see the thickness of the originals over the fakes.

I might have access to a digi soon so hopefully I can post my first pics of my "TRD Sport" Runner plus I just got my clear bumper lenses installed and they compliment the corners nicely.

you can go here and get them for $40, its expensive, but when you think about it, you dont want some cheap decals that will roll up after a year. Click on the parts tab in the upper left, then select trd logo items

It's too bad they aren't available on ebay anymore since I think that guy also offered 15 different color combos color with the "Off Road" and "Sport" decals. Toyota I think only offers a couple of colors.

That guy that was selling them on ebay still has some and they are $39 each. These are the color combos i was looking at:

black charcoal off road
charcoal black shadow off road
black blue all terrain
silver blue all terrain
black blue off road
(also had a gold one in there)

trying to think which looks best on a silver 4Runner? any suggestions? I'm partial to the all-terrain ones.
