who has 265/75/16's on their taco????
hey guys who has that size on their stock tacos? roco taco was supposed to have sent pics to see what they look like on a stock taco. me, i think they are slightly too big and may rub when the wheel is turned and at near full flex. hope that made sense

I'm sure they would rub a little bit, but given the fact I have a 4runner and not a Taco, I'm not sure. I know that the frames are the same and the overall construction of them is the same so I'd bet there wouldn't be a problem...may have to do a little trimming. No biggy

I have them on my stock (unlifted) 4runner and they only rub at full flex, and not that much. There is no rub on full turn.
I have the '98 4runner so mine is a little taller than the 00+ runners, should be comparable to your taco.
Cheers!

yeah your 98 sits up higher factory wise than my 02 taco. so naturally the 265/75's will fit yours better than mine..
this is crazy, all of these taco owners and none but 1 have the 265/75's?

i've ran them, 265/75/16 dunlop m/t. and they rubbed a bit, but it's not that bad. the m/t will rub a bit more than an a/t, so go ahead and get them, then you'll want a lift, and it keeps going from there.

i would love a lift but really i cant afford it. i am looking at A\T tires not muds. i beleive i will go ahead and get the 265/75's and say screw it.
am i looking at a big difference in gas mileage going from 245/75's to 265/75?
the 265/75's are an inch wider and an inch taller than the 245/75's
thanks again fellas

mk I ran 265/75/16 on my 04 DC stock for 6 months..I had to take off the mudflaps..I got some rubbing only on hard turns and when I went into a dip..I could have cut a small piece of plastic and solved all of it..But I put a lift on it instead...Running them on stock I was getting 18 around town and 21-22 on the hwy..I had some pics but they got deleted..

That truck was made for 265/75's. I rocked mine for about 3 years, I don't remember any rubbing at all. They were the BFG AT's. My ex also runs them on her 04 quad cab taco. Perfect fit. My 285's rubbed mildy (full flex) with my 3 inch lift though. When you decide you need 315's then prepare for some rubbing.

I have that exact same size on my 01 4runner, even with stock springs (the ones that are missing a coil) I have no rubbing at all, even going around a corner at 40 mph.
