I cannibalized a Garmin navagation mount, added a aluminum angle, then velco'd my scangauge to it. I didn't want to do anything to my dash that would screw it up - like drilling holes.

The little bumper thing was added just to make sure the aluminum angle doesn't hit my dash if I ever hit a harsh bump.

My only concern with this would be in the event of a bad rear end collision. That gauge could be planted into your face or a projectile if launched by the airbag. I'm no expert but I have never been a fan of those suction cup jobbies for that reason. Not saying that isn't a viable way of mounting anything, just not something I would do.

Nice! I have been looking for something like this! I assume you can select which parameters are displayed on the screen at a give time.

I really like my scangauge, but if I had cash burning a hole in my pocket, I would have probably gone with this reader:

It comes with the window mount and other goodies.

The interceptor seem to do the same things with the exception of it being round and at a cost of almost 2x.

They say Toyota will be supported in the next month or two. I have a little clout with the owner so if there is a lot of interest I can get him to speed up development.

I really like where I put mine at. It really flows with the rest of the dash.

Just get a piece of 1/4 round trim and some double sided tape. I've had mine for almost a year and it hasn't moved yet.

Well the more I look at them, I am liking them more than the scangauge just for the moutning possibilities and some key features that the scan gauge doesnt measure. I'll wait the few months and see if they come out with it.

BlendMount is the answer for me

The blendmount allows you to securely mount the scanguage on your rearview mirror shaft, which places the Scanguage right above your mirror. It is otherwise unused space, and it is easy to glance at the screen when you scan your mirrors. Quality is top notch and the mount is stable and secure. No affiliation, etc., but it works great for me. http://www.mgtmotorsports.com/

PLX Devices also has a very cool gauge-style OBD-II reader, it uses a OLED display that you can make display pretty much anything:
