Where have all the 96/97 Tacomas gone?

Where have you gone 96/97 Tacoma 3.4L 4x4 Extended Cab?

I've been looking all over the internet but can't find you?

I can only find you if your beat up to death, or in need of serious repair.

Come back to Northern California!

I had two 95.5 year models back when they were almost knew. I wish I had never traded that 2nd one in. It would have about 200k on it now, but I bet it would still outrun some of the new trucks

Nothing really but it was just a two year run on that style of frontend and they just didn't seem to sell as many of those years.

oh, There is one around my area. It's a 97 with 60 k on it. v6 extended cab 5spd. All Stock. Comes with a cap. Guy uses it mostly on weekends. Stays in garage mostly. He is asking 7300 or best offer. Might look into it more.

The front ends had a great look to them, but they also came better equipped or at least you could get them that way(except for the e locker, that was the one thing mine didn't have and you couldn't get). For one, the SR5 model in the 95.5 run had awesome seats. Not a big deal, but late on, the only way you could get nice adjustable seats was with a limited package. Sunroofs were more common, something I am going to add to my 03, and they were not plagued with dash rattles like the 01-04's.

Minor, but I still wish I had kept mine.

I love my 97. I have 158,000 on it and it still runs strong. It looks much better with the 00 and up mirrors on it.
