Where do you buy OEM Toyota parts?

Hi guys, I am replacing the 3.4 in my 97 4Runner. Either the head gaskets are toast or the heads are cracked, but either way - with 280,000 miles, I bought a JDM engine to replace it. I need to buy a clutch, water pump, timing belt, and other parts. Do any of you have an OEM shop you like to order from? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Get your part numbers, then shop for prices.

I’ve been very happy with McGeorge out of Richmond Va. even if they aren’t the absolute cheapest, their customer service is worth a few extra dollars.

I’ve had several orders that within a few minutes I get a phone call saying “hey you order item “A” and the mounting hardware. The item comes with the hardware… do you still want both?”

Or “I see you’re asking for Tundra parts with a 4R VIN… that part isn’t necessary for the TBU”

McGeorge, LaGrange, EB, Bommarito....all three of these are part of the Toyota Parts Group. I've been very happy with the first two especially and searched for a TPG member nearby. Took a bit of looking, but that's how I came across Bommarito. Gotta pay tax, but not shipping because it's will call for me. I still use McGeorge and LaGrange, depends on shipping vs tax and how soon I need it.
May be a TPG member nearer you...

A Picture Paints A Thousand Words

Compare Lakeland, McGeorge, Toyota Parts Deal among others.

Find part no, send store your VIN, AND INSIST THEY LOOK AT PICTURE OF ORIGINAL.
I sent McGeorge Toyota inquiry using VIN and pictures but I did not INSIST that they compare what they were going to send me with the picture of what I currently have. I purchased crankcase ventilation hoses. The PCV valve is correct but the other one forward of it is not exact fit. However, McGeorge says it only goes by VIN, it would not handle shipping, and there might be re-stocking fee. Not worth my time packaging driving to post office, etc...

McGeorge has been my go-to source for a few years. No complaints.

Its so crazy to have multiple yota dealers around phx but i wind up ordering online from dallas dealers or somewhere else.
i get so tired of eye popping prices from dealer to dealer.

Myself I have always got the best prices from my Local dealer.

Since dealers are independent that does not always work.
