I have put them threw hell and they still ride like new. They adjust to differrent road conditions and flex is awesome

I know what ya mean.....alot of my friends went on vacation in the US this summer cause it "got real cheap" in their eyes. Totonto is a great city especially now since the whole SARS over-hyped the issue so they have begun to subsidize almost everything. Hope you really enjoy(ed) it.

I am actually a US citizen just living in Canada so I was worried about making less money but the bounce back in the CDN dollar made me feel much better about it. Makes it easier to visit the family back home, that's for sure.

Sorry guys, bit off topic.

Does anyone know what the saws spring rates are for each different vehicle they make them for, such as the 4runner, tacoma, and sequoia? The reason I'm asking is that it would seem to me that if you got a slightly higher(stiffer) spring rate, such as ones made for the sequoia, then you wouldn't have to crank them up as much for the desired lift, which also seems to be that there would be less potential for the coil spring to hit itself when fully compressed. Does this all make sense?

Interesting you bring KYB up. I am pretty sure that is what I had on mine for 5 years. I was told it was the top of the line shock for 4Runners. Sure they were ok at first, but they swayed way too much in corners, too much bounce in over bumps, and both my front ones began leaking. After getting them replaced with Bils, its night and day between those 2 brands. Going over bumps is much smoother, and they handle great in corners!! I used to fear coming downhill on a turn... now, I have all the confidence in the world - just seems so much more stable.

Thats my review Give the KYB's a few more years and report back

I replaced my 98 4Runner Shocks with Bilsteins and was so impressed I removed my Rancho's from my 89 and replaced them with Bilsteins as well.

They are defintely a better shock and ride handling was improved tremendously.
