Angry What wrong with your rig?

I think it's time for another one of those pessimistic threads where we can dwell on all the problems our rigs have. I was just sitting here thinking about it and getting more angry by the minute.

:rant on:

Current problems:

1. That stupid vibration in the front end (not when applying the brakes) is still there after balancing the tires 3 TIMES! (might be related to my #2)

2. Anybody remember those new rotors I put on with the manual hubs? Yeah, well those are soon to be toast. They are warped AGAIN!!! WTF!!! This is sooooooo annoying. I'm not looking forward to tearing my front end apart and spending more money to fix it AGAIN! I think it's because the rears are out of adjustment but I haven't had time to check them.

3. Leaking oil pan.

4. Leaking PS pump.

5. Squeak in rear only when turning right. It's loud enough to easily hear it with the windows up.

6. Squeak under dash somewhere.

7. Stupid power antenna is broken.

8. Needs an alignment.

:/rant off:

Did I mention lack of power? Oh wait, I can't fix that.

And the list seems to keep growing. These are the things that are going to get fixed this summer IF I keep it. Sorry guys, I was driving home from work and that vibration just really pissed me off. I guess it's just the little things that piss you off sometimes.

I'm beginning to think this 4runner hates me after I've been so good to her.

My quest for a 3rd gen may be beginning very soon.

:wtf:

a slight rattling sound noticible at slow speeds coming from somewhere down below, and a random squeak coming from the back end.

and a leaking cv boot.

nothing major, and these will be fixed soon.

oh, and the absense of a supercharger.

I'd have to say the #1 thing wrong with my truck that bugs me the most is that it is just not lifted enough! Otherwise:

2. The horrible noise of the bad rod after the engine warms up. Not much I can do right now ... just drive it till it goes.

3. When the kids flip on the air in the back there's a really loud ticking noise coming from the center console. They are banned from using that.

4. Rear defrost works when it feels like it, usually VERY SLOWLY if at all.

5. No roof rack, I need one!

I do love my truck though with imperfections and all

Lots of rattles, but I don't consider them to be things that are wrong with the truck - they give it character and speak to the good life the truck has had.

My sunroof doesn't open.
I have no antenna for my radio.
I have a few chips from the winter that need touching up before rust sets in.
I've got 2 vibrations that I can't pinpoint... hopefully they are nothing serious.

Need Money... oh the rig?

Rear bumper too low... which means, I wish someone would make a 6" lift for late model 4runners...

Uhm... need alignment... lots of pinstripping.

Thumbs down

The one that bugs me the most is the draive shaft clunk when I come to a stop and let off the brakes. I keep pullin it apart and re greasin it, and it comes back a few miles later. :pat:
