its listed on your vin plate, should be in the door jamb or under the hood... also... here is a link, look at the pics and compare them to yours..... towards the bottom of the page there are pictures with the name of the tranny http://www.marlincrawler.com/trans.html

thread hijack, but what transmission does MY truck have? its a 22r, 4x2
the vin plate says it has a w46 (which is a 4 speed), however i have a 5 speed
all the pics for shifters show 6 bolts on the topshift part, mine has only 4 bolts.....

my bet would be that you have a W55 jim, i think that was the most common 5 speed in 2wds and celicas after the early 80s(the W50 was more common in the 70s and early 80s).
and for '89-95 trucks with manual trannies(i'm sure there's some factory oddballs out there), if you have manual hubs and a 4 cylinder, you have a W56, ADD with a 4 cylinder you have the G58, and if you have the V6 you have an R150F
