What rear shocks for LC coils? I'm getting a pair of LC coils for the rear of my 98 4runner. Whats a cheap aftermarket shock that would do go one these?

bilstein 5150s are great for the money, anything nitrogen charged with a reservoir is what you should go for IMO

What landcruiser shocks are people using for the fronts off of the fj80's in the rear of 3rd gen runners? Would a rear fj80 shock work or would it not mount up the same? Obviously the purpose of me doing the LC coils is to save some money and get some good flex/ride so I'm not trying to go to crazy on the shocks unless I have to. Then again I don't want to limit the flex of the coils.

just search around on here a bit. its been covered. i ran a random set of 4 inch lift grand cherokee shocks with mine. but i dont have measurements.

Didn't find to much on the subject just a bunch of people wondering if it's the rear coils or front coils to use... I'm interested in a decent and cheap shock option that allows the coils to get the flex they are capable of.

The LC80 front coils are to be used at the rear of a 3rd gen 4Runner to get a minimum of 3.5-inch lift.

How cheap is cheap? The bilsteins can be got in any length almost and are around $80-$100 per shock depending on if you get 5100s or 5150s. Rancho makes a good shock also, ive seen the 9 position adjustable ones for under $70 also you can get them in different lengths
