What generation is this???
Hi all, I have a 1991 toyota 4 runner, what generation would that be? I also would like to know the difference in the 3vze engine from a 1991 to a 1993?

One of the engine differences is the idler arms underneath the front timing cover. They changed the design in 93 so that it wasn't so hard to adjust the timing belt tension. Other than that i don't know of much else that changed. Looks like you got yourself a second gen toy.
