What brake pads do you have?

Just want to see what brand of pads everyone has, and what they recommend...

I haven't needed to change mine out yet. They seem to work fine for my driving habits. I've even towed some stuff and they worked flawlessly for that too.

mine are still the OEM with 88k miles on them. If I have to replace them, I'll get one from the dealer.

Whatever Meineke will keep putting on my Rig for free (lifetime guarantee). Hehe, they should have asked me how long I planned to keep my Runner.

performance friction, becuase they were a good deal w/ a good warrenty. They also seem to perform better than OEM. Only downside is slightly increased brake dust.

Had to get mystery pads up front at the last minute before a long weekend. They suck soooo bad.
Just had my rears done with better mystery pads, to get ahead of inspection coming in April. Will be dropping OEMS up front as soon as I get a set of stainless brake lines, will do both at same time.

OEM- plus my latest mod is a hole in the floor where I can stick my feet through just like Fred Flintstone- kinda tough on the heels when offroading though

I'm running the very cheapest NAPA Rotors and Pads up front that the used car lot installed-30k miles and still stopping. On the rear, I have brand new CarQuest cheapo's and the original drums.

For the pads I got the TRD caron Metalics for $30. Im never gonna find a deal that great again. So I bought Kelsey Hayes over at wheelers offroad. MY Brembos seem to like eating up my pads. I rember gadget had a awsome thread a few years ago about what pads to buy. I rember him saying somthing along the lines of using Land Cruiser pads but I dont rember which brand. Was it performance friction? Gee all this talk about pads leave me feeling Feminie, I gotta go do some manly things now. Im off to get drunk and hoot at pretty ladies

performance friction 5024 i believe, they are for the 96 landcruiser application but fit the 3rd gen 4runners perfectly, you need to specify its for the 96 LC or they(autozone) wont honor your warranty
