Wet Okole 1st impression
i put on the Wet Okole covers on Sunday and today (Monday) when i got into my car, the covers were hot. In fact, they were hotter than they had been with the leather.
Whats the deal? is everyone else experiencing the same thing?
i cant be getting out of the car with ass sweat all the time

The only time I've ever encountered "hot" wet oks was when it was really hot outside but I was wearing shorts so it didn't seem to matter as much.
Has it been humid in GA?
I think that might play a role since most of southern CA is dry heat.

Hey,
I just got mine last month. It's warm down here too, but I didn't really notice a difference between them and my cloth seats. Are they darker than your leather?

As I was riding into work today, I was thinking about your situation. Leather does heat up pretty fast, so maybe the seat covers are insulating the hot leather and making it hold the heat longer? Just a thought...

No, mine never get hot.
I put them in almost two years ago, and have gone through two summers with days in the 90s and above a few times.
Not once did mine feel any hotter than the cloth seats below them.
I like these so much better than the stock seats.

Ryan...
I've never noticed that my seats made me hot, or were hot to begin with. I have noticed though, that if I'm hot (sweaty) when I get into my truck, I tend to keep sweating as the neoprene doesn't let my skin breathe. But if I'm cool when I get in, I don't have any problems staying cool. And FWIW... I've got black/tan covers.

Are your seats leather underneath? I'm wondering how much leather vs cloth makes a difference. Most people that have Wet Okole's seem to have cloth underneath. Hmmmmmm??????

Sorry, forgot to add the smiley
I don't think you'd have an issue with the wet oks if you had the same problem with the leather seats beforehand.
Sorry to hear your troubles - maybe the problem will subside when the seats cushioning have lost their bounce?

More from the TMI department.
I sweat a lot. Enough to provide enough water for Vegas in the summer.
So far I have not encountered any issues with mine, but it is winter and it is in Wisconsin. I also have really dark windows, perhaps that has some bearing.
I too would be pissed if someone charged me 400 for 2 Wet Okoles, I could have done the whole truck for that much.

I think the price is more like $230 for the fronts, isn't it?
I don't have any problems with the WO's. They never get really hot nor really cold so they are comfy. They don't seem to make things any more sweaty than the cloth seats.
