Silencing Walbro Pump Whine

Have anyone thought of any ideas on silencing the 190 pump? I went ahead and ordered the pump for my 2000 4runner since it is a direct replacement, but I still fear the noise it might make. Could it maybe be possible to put a later of dynamat around the pump that I could fix with a hose clamp? I don't know how well gasoline and dynamat would do..
What about putting dynamat around the tank?

Good luck silencing it. If you figure out how to do it let me know, mine is a PITA when it gets warm and drives me crazy. I have the black foam rubber insulator installed around it and it's still loud as crap. I've been considering covering the fuel line under the driver's seat because that seems to be where the majority of the noise is coming from. I wouldn't put any unknown material around it in the gas just for safety sake.

I always heard this about the pump, but I can't hear mine at all. Mayeb the newer ones aren't as loud, because I can't hear mine at all. Good luck!

Just wanted to bring this topic back up.
I've had the URD kit installed for about 5000 miles or so, and the Walbro pump was initially completely silent.
2 weeks ago, I noticed some MILD whining when I came to a stop after a long drive.
Just drove over 500 miles today through the desert, and at every gas stop the Walbro had a SEVERE whine...loud enough to get people across the parking lot to look over to see what the noise is. It's an awful droning cyclical noise...I'm just hoping that the pump doesn't fail.

Here's the kicker, after filling up the tank, the whine completely disappears. I'm guessing that it cools off while the engine is stopped, plus fresh fuel to bathe the pump housing might help.
I'm very disturbed by this, and fear that the pump may give out--which could be a serious driving hazard to myself and others on the road. I've read alot about the whining pump noise, but many (including myself) have had completely silent pumps.
Anyone else experiencing this?

That's a common pump upgrade used on 1st and 2nd gen DSMs (Eclipses,Talons) and yes they can be noisy but the loudness varies pump to pump. Mine wasn't too loud but then again my exhaust usually covered any sounds anyway.
