Vibration when stepping on Accelerator

Ok to start off with i do have a minor list of problems on my front end already which include
passenger lower ball joint
Passenger cv seal leak
a stuck drivers side lock nut on the tie rod

but i dont think any of this has to do with my vibration. It occurs when i step on the gas but when i let off on the accelerator its smooth as hell. Of course while i am in drive and slap it into neutral while coasting it vibrates also. I am thinking it is somewhat engine related or front gears ???? But would the front gears affect the the accelerating of a vehicle? ofcourse it could possibley be transmission or transfer case related also. I have checked my tires so its not there either. What could it be? Oh and this vibration happens mostly around 60-80mph and the engine is a bit louder.

so i drove the truck this morning with the vibration still there. one obsdervation was that there is a huming noise from beneath the truck. A very steel sounding hum. and as i was parking i noticed a loud clunk when shifting from reverse to drive. would a bad u=joint cause that too? or would my BL do that? i do have to change the shifter a little bit but i dont think that wouold cause a thunk.

please HELP

Have you checked the U-joints on your drive shaft(s)?? They could either need greased badly, or you may be loosing one (i.e bearings could be going/gone in one end).

Edit: What about the slip yoke on the drive shaft(s)? Any chance you've greased that lately. If its dry, it coud be binding up.

Yup, U-joints/Driveshaft definetly need to be lubed.

Also, your tires being unbalanced.

i rotated my tires figuring that but no difference. Also it seems to vibrate with the slighest touch of the gas as though it were linked to that somehow. Well at least the driveline asssembly
