V8 swap question...

I am wanting to swap the Ford 302 V8 in my '90 4Runner 4x4. My 3.slow crapped out on me. What I want to know is, is there any way to keep the ford tranny with the engine when I swap the engine in and be able to hook up to the transfer case? I looked on Advanced Adapters site and didn't see a bellhousing adapter listed for that engine. Thanks for any help!

if you are looking to use a ford tranny why are you looking for a bellhousing adapter? are you going to use the yota t-case? lots of good info here http://www.advanceadapters.com/catalog/t54.html

Sorry, I failed to mention that 1st I wanted to just use the ford motor and my tranny, then when I couldn't find a bellhousing adapter I was wondering what was needed to use the ford tranny.

NWOR buys it's 5.0 adapters from AA

in my conversations with both companies, they told me that they have engine mounts for 22re trucks, not the V6 trucks.

I have a 5.0 sitting in the garage, the next time my 3.0L craps out, it is for sure going in the 4runner
